The BLS Provider course is a comprehensive in-person training led by a Heart & Stroke instructor, featuring lectures, videos, hands-on practice, and coaching. The BLS Provider course is ideal for healthcare professionals and trained first responders as well those who are new to BLS or do not frequently use their resuscitation skills.
Course Duration = 3.5 Hours
This qualification is required for admission to medical faculties and schools in Manitoba and across other provinces, and it’s also a prerequisite for advanced paramedic programs such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
No materials are included, you are required to have a current manual or purchase one before the course start date (pickup at course is available)
You can enroll directly on our website by selecting the course and following the registration prompts. Payment is secure and easy to complete online.
After you pass the course, you’ll be issued a Heart & Stroke Canada e‑card certificate that’s valid for one year. Printed cards are available on request for an additional fee.
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
Eligible for two (2) credits per hour under Section 2 of the MOC Program as “Traineeships”.
Other Colleges / Regulatory Bodies
Heart & Stroke courses are recognized across Canada. We are committed to continuous assessment and accreditation. Check with your college or professional affiliation to see if this course is eligible for credits.
