We embrace diversity in all its forms, recognizing that every individual brings unique perspectives, experiences, and identities to the table. This includes differences in race, ethnicity, culture, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, personality, and economic status.
Inclusion is at the heart of our values. We are committed to fostering an environment where the backgrounds, ideas, and perspectives of diverse individuals are recognized as valuable. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of background, feels engaged, respected, and able to participate equally in all conversations, activities, and decision-making processes.
We understand that each person’s needs are unique, so we’re happy to work with you to find the best solution that helps remove any barriers to learning. Our goal is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
Accommodations are changes in how you learn the material. For example, we might adjust the classroom layout to make it easier to move around, provide extra practice time, or slow the pace of certain activities to accommodate health conditions like asthma.
Modifications, on the other hand, are changes in what is taught or expected. For instance, instead of performing a skill like CPR, a student might be asked to describe the steps instead.
Please note that we offer accommodations to help you learn more effectively, but we do not offer modifications to the course content.
We’re here to help! If you need any accommodations, just let us know and we’ll work together to make sure you have a positive learning experience.

Please refrain from texting or making calls during class time.
Turn off or silence your phone’s ringer to avoid disruptions.

We are committed to creating an emotionally safe learning environment where all participants feel respected, valued, and able to engage in open, healthy interactions. In this space, everyone should feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment or discrimination.
As a participant, you play a key role in maintaining this environment by:
Showing respect for your fellow students and instructors at all times.
Engaging in discussions in a constructive and thoughtful manner.
Offering support and encouragement to your peers.
Taking responsibility for your own behavior and ensuring that it contributes positively to the classroom atmosphere.
Respecting the diversity of thought, ideas, and experiences shared by others.
Addressing any concerns or discomforts respectfully, either with the instructor or privately, to ensure the class remains a safe space for everyone.
Your participation helps foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all. Let’s work together to create a space where everyone feels empowered to learn and grow!
To create a supportive and effective learning environment, we all agree to the following ground rules:
Acknowledgment and Forgiveness: We understand that mistakes will happen, and we agree to acknowledge and forgive each other, including ourselves, when they do. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and we are committed to learning from them.
Respect for All: This is a classroom environment, and the individuals here are not real patients. It’s okay to make mistakes and learn in this space as we grow together.
Embrace Risky Ideas: We encourage you to try on new ideas and ask questions—even the risky ones! Curiosity is key to growth, and we value each person’s willingness to explore and learn.
Mutual Regard: You will hold your fellow classmates in positive mutual regard, supporting each other’s learning journey with kindness and respect.
Genuine Curiosity: Approach this learning experience with genuine curiosity and openness. Let’s explore, ask questions, and discover new ways to grow together.
Physical Activity & Rest: These courses involve physical practice, and regardless of your health status, it’s important to balance practice with rest periods. Pay attention to your own and others’ fatigue levels during practice sessions. If needed, take breaks to avoid physical discomfort, such as light-headedness, bruising, or blisters. Please note that individuals with pre-existing conditions may experience aggravation of these problems. We encourage you to pace yourself and listen to your body to ensure a safe and effective learning experience.

In the event of any conflicts during the course, we will follow the conflict resolution policy of the agency representing the course.
